新年感恩家庭聚餐

Many of our directors were free on new years eve.  Ooriginally 阮雅倫  was going to treat our directors with a Christmas party with 林柳君 as the lead coordinator.  But at the end, 林柳君 gave  our directors and their families a special  Christmas eve at her Radio American Living station.  All expenses paid by Laura and her radio station.  Laura choose a very creative way to provide a great Christmas eve for the board members and their families. 　Since Rosalind did not spent her personal budget allocated for treating our directors for  Christmas.  阮雅倫 decided to thank everyone with a New Years eve party at her house . 

Once again, Rosalind took this as a great opportunity to clean her house.  The beautiful  Christmas  decoration still there and  made the mood of the party very cheerful.  Cooking will take too much time, Rosalind wanted to enjoy her time with the board members and their families.  She found a nice Chinese Restaurant in Roland Heights who agreed to delivery the food. All she had to do was to prepare drinks, fruit, and  new years rice cake and her famous "排骨" soup.  Job was not hard at all.

At 6:00,  guests arrived.  Most Board members were present: Director 牟致遠夫婦 , 黃忠勇 夫婦 , 王永年夫婦 ,林昌源 夫婦  , 柯泓任, 王程有智夫婦 , 林昌源夫婦 ，李燕伯夫婦 .  Quiet of few alumni were also invited.  蔣瑞霞, 王孟恩夫婦.   professor Ted Wu and his Girl friend, 江大嘉周祖涵夫婦. 張季武 夫婦were all here.   Some of them brought wind, some of them brought snacks.  林昌源夫婦 brought a beautiful Orchard(蘭花） flower pot.  It has been six  months  now, the flowers are still blooming beautifully in Rosalind's family room.   Thank you Mr.  & Mrs. 林昌源!

After the dinner, three groups of activities were form.  Some were lead by 王永年夫人practicing dancing in the living room.  Some were lead by 王竹青doing singing competition in the family room.  The last group were staying in the kitchen eating and debating about the current events.

This party was a small but very warm.  It made us feel more like a family.   We felt closer and closer each time we spent time working together or having good time together.  This new year eve party was a meaningful get together.  

It was a meaningful way to spent our New Years Eve. And it will stay as  a beautiful  unforgettable memory  for Rosalind for the rest of her life.  (南加州台大校友會)
