Grace Wang - 52nd President
1983 商學國貿畢業,1986 會計碩士,曾任 27、 47、48、50 、51屆理事。早期從事會計財務房地產貸款, 後任職花旗銀行,富國銀行,美國銀行等擔任放款審批。興趣包括讀書、運動、旅遊、美食、音樂等等。參與社團及職務:台大校友會副會長,大專聯合校友會理事,爾灣讀書會前會長,聽竹口琴樂團、橙縣烏克麗麗樂團等。敬業樂群熱心公益,非常珍惜爲校友們服務的機會。

Vice President Kenny Wang
Graduated from the Department of Chemistry in 1992, obtained a master's degree in environmental engineering from USC in 1996, and a doctorate in environmental engineering from USC in 2001. Served as a postdoctoral researcher at the California Institute of Technology, an assistant researcher at the California Institute of Technology, and is currently an engineer at the California Environmental Protection Agency's Los Angeles Water Resources Management Bureau. Likes cycling, self-guided travel and other activities. Served as the chairman and president of the Western Chinese Association of America, and is currently a director of the Western Chinese Association of America, the Southern California Chinese Association of Science and Technology, and the Southern California Chinese Environmental Protection Association. Dedicated to promoting community environmental protection and science education, he has given lectures to the community many times to let the public understand water resources and water pollution knowledge, the benefits of organic waste recycling, and promote organic composting to reduce methane emissions. Willing to increase the knowledge of environmental protection for alumni and understand the water pollution in Southern California. Served as a director of the 38th, 39th, 40th, 42nd, 43rd, 44th, 51st, and 52nd Alumni Association.

Vice President Janice Chen
1989 International Trade Department, 1991 University of Washington Master of Business Administration. Worked at Citibank, Cathay United Bank, Agilent Technologies. Currently the Controller of American Glass Studio, responsible for finance and personnel. 2018 Chairman of the Southern California North First Women's Alumni Association. Served as a director of the 40th, 41st, and 42nd National Taiwan University Alumni Association, and is currently a director of the 51st session.

Director Christina Hsu
Graduated from the Department of Economics in 1978. Served Cathay Pacific Airways for 6 years until immigrating to the United States in 1984. Joined the United States Postal Service in 1987 as a Supervisor until his retirement on July 31, 2020. Has a wide range of interests, likes singing and dancing, traveling, and cooking. Served as a director of the 33rd, 49th, and 50th NTU Alumni Association. Currently serving as the 51st President of the Southern California NTU Alumni Association. After resigning in July this year, he will continue to contribute to the Alumni Association with enthusiasm. I look forward to working hand in hand with everyone in the future to make the Southern California NTU Alumni Association a stronger, warmer, and more influential community.

Wendy Huang
1990 PhD in Electrical Engineering, 1993 Master of Electrical Engineering from USC. Specialized in underwater acoustic model building and neural network image processing. Worked as a chief engineer at an Internet search engine company for many years, and later worked in administrative management at an international software company. In 2020, he moved back to Los Angeles and founded a floral studio. His hobbies include calligraphy, playing guitar, writing martial arts novels, and performing magic. It is my honor to be able to do my part for my alma mater alumni. Served as a board member for the 41st, 42nd, 50th, and 51st terms.

Director You Laidan Lisa Chi
1975 Graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, Master of St. Noble's University in New York. Former bilingual teacher in New York City. Currently engaged in land development, with projects in Southern California and Las Vegas. Served as a director of the Alumni Association for several terms, and served as the financial and school magazine editor for several terms. I like playing the piano, painting, and am good at Tai Chi, sword, fan, and yoga. If I have the opportunity to serve alumni again, I will do my best to use my strengths and experience to work hard to develop the association, unite alumni with joy, serve the community, and make the Alumni Association more colorful and reach a higher level. 45th, 46th, 47th, 50th, and 51st directors.

Director Cindy Fang
方興 1974 年商學系會計組畢業,美國亞利桑那州立大學財務金融博士。現任加州州立大學洛杉磯校區財務金融教授,曾任該系系主任 12 年。曾任南加州華裔教授會會長、全球華人企管教授學會財務長、美西華人學會會長及理事長。現任中華民國僑務諮詢委員。曾任台大校友會 30 屆副會長,31,32 ,50,51屆理事。

Sue Shung-Man Cheung
After graduating from the Department of Medicine at National Taiwan University School of Medicine in 1973, he worked as a general practitioner in Columbus Hospital in Chicago for one year and received pediatric specialist training in Cook County Hospital for two years. In 1976, he moved to Lake Delavan-Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to live and open a practice. In 1989, his family moved to Los Angeles County. After practicing medicine in San Fernando Valley for two years, he was employed by the LA County Health Department and worked as a full-time pediatrician in the OliveView UCLA Hospital System and the community clinic under the LA County Ambulatory Care Network. He also occasionally did clinical teaching. He officially retired at the end of 2017. I have a wide range of interests, including reading, appreciating music and drama, singing, trying various dances, traveling, and recently I have developed an interest in astronomy. I have served on the Joint Activities Committee of the Six Christian Secondary Schools in Hong Kong and the Alumni Association of my secondary school. I am honored to be elected as a director of the Southern California University Alumni Association since its 50th session. I will do my best to serve the alumni.

Carol Chu
1978 Graduated from the Department of Public Health, Master of Biostatistics from UCLA. Engaged in Software Application Development in the fields of medicine and public health, currently retired from the County of Los Angeles. Formerly: Vice President of Taipei First Women's Alumni Association in 2014; Director of Taipei First Women's Alumni Association in 2000, 2001, 2013, 2014; Director of the 46th, 48th, 49th, 51st sessions of NTU.

Bryan Lee
Graduated from the Department of Agriculture and Engineering in 1982. Worked as an IT software engineer, real estate broker, and director of the 29th, 30th, 31st, 33rd, 34th, 35th, 37th, 38th, 39th and 51st sessions. Currently a financial consultant in insurance. With nearly 30 years of experience, I can help you with your financial affairs.

Nicholas Lin
Graduated from the Institute of Oceanography in 1999. Moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and engaged in product packaging-related work. Currently provides product packaging solutions for industries such as food, beverages, cosmetics, fashion consumer goods, and retailers. In the early years, he was responsible for product development and international market expansion of anti-counterfeiting packaging materials; later, he entered the Chinese mainland market and supplied product packaging to the tobacco industry, the spirits industry, and fast-moving consumer goods. After coming to the United States, he focused on the market demand and development of external packaging color boxes, shopping paper bags, frozen food bags, and glass bottles. Enthusiastic and willing to serve alumni, happy to share personal experience of going to the United States with young alumni and assist new residents in their development in the United States. 45th, 46th, and 51st Board of Directors.

Director Isabel Lai
1986年台灣大學護理系畢業, 1991年加州大學洛杉磯分(UCLA) 護理碩士畢業, 1996年至紐約大學(NYU)修習電影碩士,在紐約生下女兒,完成一年學業之後,1997年決定肄業,回到洛杉磯重新投入護理。於UCLA medical Center 工作, 曾任 Clinical Nurse Specialist 多年,擔任UCLA 總院 及分院Santa Monica hospital 院中護理人員臨床教學。目前在心臓診斷科任職 Advance Practice Nurse,診斷工作包括心肺運動測試等等。
兒女逐漸成長之後,便喜歡上了唱歌,榮獲2022年大專院校卡拉OK賽女子組冠軍。台大為我奠定了堅強、人道的護理理念,也帶給我青春時代最美好的回憶,擔任理事願回饋母校校友,並投身聯誼活動。

Director Meggy Huang
I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. I graduated from the Department of Sociology at National Taiwan University in 1968. In 1971, I received a master's degree in sociology from Clark University in Massachusetts. In 1977, I obtained a real estate license in California and founded Market America in Arcadia. Later, I joined Qiaofu Realty and Remax Premier Properties.
I have reached retirement age, which is the best time to serve the community and associations. When the Arcadia Chinese Association was founded, I served as a liaison director, and thus became the liaison between the Chinese Association and the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce. I like playing tennis, dancing and traveling. I also like to grow and appreciate flowers.

Director Selena Chiang
Graduated from the Law Department in 1996 and the Law School in 2005; worked as a local court clerk, a bank clerk, a staff member of the head of a financial regulatory agency, an IT executive, and an electronics manager; has a cheerful, honest, smart, analytical personality, a strong learning ability, and a high stress resistance; likes literature and art, dogs and cats, rock music, new things, and making friends.
As the saying goes, "You rely on friends when you go abroad." Huixian came to the United States alone with nothing. The care of alumni helped Huixian see the light of day. Today, I would like to share my experience and hope to learn from everyone how to succeed and be happy in the United States. I hope that NTU alumni will unite and grow stronger and be the best in the world.

理事 謝維德 Edward Hsieh
Graduated from the Department of Economics in 1978, obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Houston in 1988, and served at the School of Economics and Business at California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State U., Los Angeles) from 1989 to 2019. During this period, in addition to teaching and research, he served as the department head and vice dean for six years each, and taught at National Chengchi University, National Dong Hwa University, and Xiamen University for a short period of time. He served as a long-term director of the Chinese American Association of the West and the Southern California Chinese Professors Association, and served as the president of the latter for one year. Now retired, his biggest hobbies in his spare time are Tai Chi and sword, and he is currently the chairman of the Thunder Tai Chi Association. I look forward to the opportunity to serve alumni.

Emily Ruan
After graduating from the Chinese Department in 1973, he came to the United States to study psychological counseling and business management. In his early years, he ran a wholesale restaurant supplies business. He worked as a real estate agent and the banquet manager of the Hilton Hotel in Universal Studios. He was a director of the Chinese American Association of Southern California. Later, he worked in the Los Angeles County Public Health Department, responsible for the issuance and inspection of the funds for the California Medicaid Drug Rehabilitation Center. He retired from the county government last year. He likes gardening, music, traveling and billiards.

Joyce Tsai
Graduated from the Department of Occupational Therapy in 2009, and obtained a PhD in Clinical Occupational Therapy from USC in 2016. Currently the head of the Youth Group of the Southern California NTU Alumni Association, he is committed to promoting alumni exchanges and expanding personal connections, and providing young alumni with advice on living, studying, medical treatment, and employment in the United States. He holds an American Occupational Therapist Certificate, a California Occupational Therapist License, an Occupational Therapist Clinical Education, and multiple clinical testing certificates. Currently engaged in occupational therapy for children, home feeding therapy, special education services in school systems, adolescent social skills training, parenting training, primary clinical occupational therapist training, and online remote video medical treatment and consultation. Interested in fitness, singing, and drinking coffee. Looking forward to joining the board again to serve more alumni! 46th, 47th, 48th, 49th, 51st board member.

Terry Kuo
Graduated from the Department of Agricultural Economics in 2008, graduated from the Accounting Firm in 2011, and is a registered accountant in both Taiwan and the United States. Worked at PwC Taipei and PwC Tokyo in Japan. In 2019, I moved to the United States. I am currently an audit manager at PwC LA, responsible for private companies in the Greater Los Angeles area. I can speak Chinese, English and Japanese. I am interested in badminton, hiking, traveling, cooking and movie appreciation. I hope to have the opportunity to continue to serve all alumni.

Director Kathryn Hsieh
After graduating from the Department of Political Science in 2003, he came to the United States to study for a doctorate at the University of California, Irvine. He has been engaged in statistics and data analysis for many years and holds multiple financial certificates. He is the founder of Ruiyu Finance and specializes in financial planning, various securities investments, quantitative trading, overall asset allocation and inheritance. He looks forward to contributing to the alumni association and sharing, communicating and growing with each other.

James Hsu
2004 Graduated from the Department of International Business, Master of Public Policy Management, University of Southern California, Class of 2009. Worked as a sales manager at Micargi Bicycles in California for seven years, and is currently engaged in real estate investment. In 2014, he assisted Wang Linya, Liao Jianting, Chen Zhihan, Cai Shunru and other young alumni to co-found the Southern California National Taiwan University Alumni Association Youth Group, served as the group leader in 2017, and served as a director of this alumni association from 2016 to 2018. He is interested in participating in sports activities, business investment research, and chasing dramas (mainly Korean dramas). He has a daughter who is currently eight years old (born in 2015). This year, he rejoined the association with the goal of helping to gather young and middle-aged alumni around 40 years old to exchange ideas on early childhood education and Chinese learning, as well as to exchange ideas on the career development of their children.

Oscar Ho
Graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering in 1972, and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. Worked as a software engineer for major companies in Southern California. Worked as a database manager for the San Bernardino City School District for 15 years before retirement. Currently works as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at San Bernardino County Community College. Served as a director of the Alumni Association 20 years ago. Currently pursuing a doctorate in information technology at NSU. I like piano, choir, dragon dance and gardening, and teach elementary school students computer programs. If I have the opportunity to serve alumni, I will do my best to use my strengths and experience to assist the president in developing the association's affairs, unite alumni with joy, serve the community, and make the alumni association more colorful and reach a higher level.

Young Sen Lin
1983 農經系畢業,University of Washington at Seattle, MBA碩士。曾任台灣花旗銀行建設貸款專員,印尼全興飼料總經理、香港全興集團副總經理、中國江蘇寶龍集團副總裁、洛杉磯福智基金會執行長,現任HCM心田餐飲及商店財務長。喜好游泳救生、馬拉松賽跑、匹克球、旅遊、登山健行及露營,喜歡合唱、樂團表演及競技舞表演。
如果有機會為校友服務,定會盡我所長及經驗,努力發展會務,以歡樂凝聚校友,服務社區,讓校友會更加有聲有色,更上一層樓。

Jane Hsu
Graduated from the Department of Pharmacy at National Taiwan University in 1984, graduated from the University of Southern California with a master's degree in radiopharmacy in 1985, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a doctorate in clinical pharmacy (Pharm.D.) in 1993. Previously worked in the Science and Technology Advisory Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of China and Toronto General Hospital in Canada. Currently works as a professional pharmacist in the pharmacy department of LA Community Hospital in Los Angeles, USA. I love music, literature, drama, art, calligraphy, writing, traveling, and studying physical and mental growth. In college, I served as the vice president of the National Opera Society, the editor of Qingxing Magazine of the School of Medicine, participated in the Taipei Philharmonic Chorus, and participated in many music and drama stage performances. After going abroad, I continued to participate in cultural performances and other activities. He was the vice president of the Southern California NTU Alumni Choir and one of the editors of the Southern California NTU Alumni Yearbook.

Debra Lee
She graduated from the Department of Philosophy in 1992 and NYU with a Master of Education in 1994. She then worked in the marketing department of New Jersey Computer Corporation. After marriage, she moved to Chicago with her husband, and then moved to Irvine in Southern California, where she has lived ever since. She has two sons and one daughter. Since 2020, she has served as an editor of the Blue Humanities Hall. Since 2021, she has helped her husband to advocate the construction of a badminton hall in Irvine, and thus realized the importance of ethnic minorities participating in public affairs in the United States. Therefore, as a director, she upholds the spirit of serving alumni and exerts her own small power. She likes to read books on religion, philosophy, metaphysics, spirituality, novels, etc. In her spare time, she likes to cook, hike, and watch TV series.

Director Lisa Huang
He graduated from the Master's Program of the Botanical Research Institute in 1985 and the Doctoral Program of the Botanical Research Institute in 1987. He received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1995 and his Master's in Management Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2000. He has worked as an aquaculture technician at the Fisheries Bureau of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry of Taiwan Province, a genetics laboratory technician at Mackay Memorial Hospital, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a lecturer in computer software and management information systems at the university, as well as an MBA and international admissions specialist. I have served in Southern California for many years for the College and University Alumni Association, Cerritos Pine and Cypress Club, and Ocean University Alumni Association. My projects include organizing online and physical events, taking photos of events, video production, poster design, yearbook layout, etc. I hope to have the opportunity to serve NTU alumni.
