2026 南加州台灣大學校友會奬學金
2026 NTUAASC Scholarship Program

南加州台灣大學校友會設立數項奬學金，宗旨在於表彰並支持在學業成就，領導潛力及社區參與方面表現優異的學生、校友及其後代。此獎學金計劃不僅加強台大與校友群體之間的聯繫，亦促進高等教育發展，並支持慈善事業，包括災害救助與社區需求。


The National Taiwan University Alumni Association of Southern California (NTUAASC) Scholarship Award recognizes and supports exceptional students, alumni, and descendants of alumni who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and community involvement. This program strengthens the connection between NTU and its alumni community, promotes higher education, and supports philanthropic causes, including disaster relief and community needs.

申請前請仔細閱讀下列共同標準和申請文件要求, 以及各獎項的個別詳細資格條件。Please read below carefully the general criteria and submission requirements, and the eligibility criteria for each scholarship before applying.

申請者須遞交以下文件或證明：

Applicants must submit the following documentation:

  1. 在學成績單: 如個別獎項有GPA 或課業紀錄要求，須提供成績 (請參考下列個別獎助學金的要求。)

      Transcript: Submit one copy of transcript, if evidence of GPA or record of course work is required by donor. Please consult requirements of each scholarship as described below.

   2. 領導能力與社區參與度：需提供領導角色證明及社區服務記錄。

      Demonstrated leadership roles and community engagement.

   3. 個人陳述：說明目標及奬學金對申請人未來的影響。

      Explanation of educational goals and how the scholarship will impact the applicant’s future.

   4. 推薦信：由教授、導師或社區領袖提供。

      Letters of recommendation from professors, mentors, or community leaders.

   5. 經濟需求：適用於基於經濟需求的獎學金。

      Applicable to need-based scholarships.

   6. 申請人可申請一或多項獎學金，但只能獲得一項。

      Applicants may apply for one or more scholarships but may only receive one.

           

申請, 評審及頒獎流程：

Application, Review, and Award Process:

 

  1. 申請截止日期：所有申請資料必須在2026年4月25日或之前提交，逾期不與受理。申請人可同時申請一或多項獎學金，但最終只能獲得一項獎勵。

The deadline for applying is April 25, 2026. All applications must be submitted on or before this date to be considered for scholarships. Applicants may apply for one or more scholarships, but will only be rewarded one, if awarded.

   2. 審核委員會依據各個獎學金或助學金訂定的標準進行審核。

The Review Committee will process and evaluate applications based on the criteria as set forth under each scholarship or assistantship.

   3. 入圍者可能會被要求參加Zoom面試或提交錄製影片做為進一步評估的依據。

Finalists may be contacted for a Zoom interview or asked to submit a recorded video for further evaluation.

 

   4. 審議結果：評選委員會將審議結果交由南加州台大校友會理事會核可後，於2026年6月15日至17日通知受獎人。委員會也會在年會前通知捐款者。

Final Decision: Th Committee will submit the recommended list of awardees to the NTUAASC Board for approval and inform the final awardees by email between Jun 15 to 17, 2026. Donors will be informed of the recipients before the ceremony.

   5. 受獎規則：

Requirement for receiving the award:

 

奬學金將於2026年7月11日南加州台大校友會年會晚宴上由捐贈人或其代表頒發，獲獎者或其代表必須出席年會。

Final awards will be presented at the Annual NTUAASC Banquet, to be held on July 11, 2026. Recipients or their representatives must be present to receive the award from the donor.

   6. 後續報告：獲奬者在下次年會前需提供一份簡短報告，介紹其學業進展及獎學金對其影響，供校友會年刋發表。

Follow-Up Report: Awardees may be required to submit a brief report before NTUAASC’s next annual banquet on their academic progress and the scholarship's impact, to be published in the NTUAASC Yearbook.

一、台灣大學洛杉磯野火受災戶助學金（台灣大學捐贈）
        National Taiwan University LA Wildfire Relief Financial Aid (Donated by NTU)

 金額：每人$2000 (Amount: $2000 per person)

 名額：5 名 (Recipients: 5)

 申請資格：(Eligibility)

   1. 受到今年一月洛杉磯野火影響的校友， 社區居民及其家人之在學學生

       (Alumni, community residents, and their families affected by the LA wildfire in January.)​

   2. 申請人需提供野火影響證明並說明其經濟需求

      (Applicants must provide proof of wildfire impact and demonstrate financial need.)

   3. 每戶僅限一人申請

      (Only one scholarship per household is allowed.)

​

山火助學金由以下機構共同捐贈：國立台灣大學、台大校友總會、台大校友會文化基金會、及第九屆理監事會。

Note: The Wildfire Bursary is donated by the following organizations: National Taiwan University, NTU Alumni Association, NTU Alumni Association Cultural Foundation, and the 9th Board of Directors.

二、Jane Chung 紀念獎學金（謝維德教授捐贈）
        Jane Chung Memorial Scholarship (donated by Professor Edward Hsieh)

 金額：$1200 (Amount: $1200 per person)

 名額：1 名 (Recipients: 1)

 申請資格：​(Eligibility, Donor Specific)

   1. 申請人必須是在美國有通過正式評鑑的四年制學院，大學或研究所就讀，同時其主修為社會科學專業的全時本科或研究生

      (Applicant must be a full-time student, undergraduate or graduate, majoring in Social Sciences in an accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S..)

   2. 申請人至少已完成一學期/學季的學業

      (Applicant must have already at least one quarter/semester of academic work at the enrolled institution.)

   3. 優先考慮在主修课程上有優異成績者

      (Preference will be given to those who have record in major course work.)

   4. 優先考慮已有可以提出專業成果的申請者， 例如研究論文、研究報告、個案研究、與專業相關的社區服務等

      (Preference will also be given to those who have demonstrable contributions or achievements in field of study, such as research paper, case study, community project, etc.)

   5. 申請人須為台灣大學校友或其後代，並居住在南加州（洛杉磯縣、文圖拉縣、橙縣、聖地牙哥縣、河濱縣、聖伯納第諾縣）

      (Applicants must be NTU alumni or their descendants residing in Southern California (Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, and San Diego Counties).)

三、方立人將軍奬學金（方興教授捐贈）
        General Fang Li-Jen Scholarship (donated by Professor Hsing Fang)

 金額：$1200 (Amount: $1200 per person)

 名額：1 名 (Recipients: 1)

 申請資格：(Eligibility)

   1. 依據學術表現，社區參與度，品學兼優並符合方立人將軍樂於助人理念進行評選

      (Awarded based on academic performance, community involvement, and alignment with the philosophic values of General Fang Li-Ren.)

   2. 申請人須為台灣大學校友或其後代，並居住在南加州（洛杉磯縣、文圖拉縣、橙縣、聖地牙哥縣、河濱縣、聖伯納第諾縣）

      (Applicants must be NTU alumni or their descendants residing in Southern California (Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, and San Diego Counties).)

   3. 目前就讀或已被美國大學錄取的大學部學生或研究生

      (Applicants must be currently enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university in the U.S..)​

四、田文華先生領導力奬學金（田文華先生捐贈）
       Leadership Scholarship (donated by Mr. Tian)

 金額：每人$2500 ($2500 per person)

 名額：4 名，高中11、12年級學生。(Recipients: 4, juniors or seniors in high school)

   1. 需展現出色的領導潛力

      (Individuals demonstrating exceptional leadership potential.)

   2. 申請人須提供領導經驗證明

      (Applicants must show leadership roles)

   3. 撰寫一段說明申請人領導經驗的文字

      (Provide a personal statement outlining their leadership goals.)

      描述你如何正面影響他人，並請包涵下列幾個關鍵要素：

      (Describe how you have positively impacted others, including the following key elements.)

  • 說明你為何是一位出色的領導者。(Explain why you are a great leader.)​

  • 你如何運用你的領導能力貢獻社區，並創造一個更美好的世界。(How you use your leadership skills to contribute to your community and create a better world.)

  • 你曾克服過的最大挑戰。(The biggest challenge you’ve ever overcome.)

  • 解釋同理心在你的領導風格中所扮演的角色。(Explain the role empathy plays in your leadership style.)

  • 字數以不超過300字為標準。(The word count should not exceed 300 words.)

 申請資格：(Eligibility)

  1. 申請人須為台灣移民或其後代，並居住在南加州。

(Applicants must be Taiwanese immigrants or their descendants and live in Southern California.)

  1. 目前就讀美國高中11年級或12年級。(Currently enrolled in 11th or 12th grade in a US high school.)

  2. 台灣大學校友或其後代優先，但非台灣大學校友或其後代亦可申請。(Priority will be given to alumni of National Taiwan University or their descendants, but non-alumni of National Taiwan University or their descendants may also apply.)

  3. 最低 GPA 3.0 (Minimum GPA 3.0)
