2026 南加州台灣大學校友會奬助金
2026 NTUAASC Scholarship and Financial Assistance Program

南加州台灣大學校友會設立數項奬助金，宗旨在於表彰並支持在學業成就，領導潛力及社區參與方面表現優異的學生、校友及其後代。此獎助金計劃不僅加強台大與校友群體之間的聯繫，亦促進高等教育發展，並支持慈善事業，包括災害救助與社區需求。
The National Taiwan University Alumni Association of Southern California (NTUAASC) scholarships and financial assistance recognize and support exceptional students, alumni, and descendants of alumni who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and community involvement. This program, which also includes forms of financial assistance, strengthens the connection between NTUAASC and its alumni community, promotes higher education, and supports philanthropic causes, including disaster relief and community needs.

申請前請仔細閱讀下列共同標準和申請文件要求, 以及各獎項的個別詳細資格條件。

Please read below carefully the general criteria and submission requirements, and the eligibility criteria for each scholarship and assistance before applying.

申請者須遞交以下文件或證明：

Applicants must submit the following documentation:

  1. 在學成績單: 如個別獎項有GPA 或課業紀錄要求，須提供成績，請參考下列個別獎助金的要求。 (Transcript: Submit one copy of transcript, if evidence of GPA or course work is required by donor. Please consult the requirements of each scholarship or assistance as described below.)

  2. 領導能力與社區參與：需提供領導角色證明及社區服務記錄。 (Demonstrated leadership roles and community engagement. Proof of such roles and engagement must be provided.)

  3. 個人陳述：說明個人目標及奬學金對申請人未來的影響。 (Personal narrative: Explaining applicant’s personal goals and how the scholarship or assistance will influence the applicant’s future. Length of personal narrative should be limited to 500 words.)

  4. 推薦信一封：由教授、導師或社區領袖提供。 (One Letter of recommendation from applicant’s school teacher/professor, mentor, or community leader.)

  5. 經濟需求證明：適用於基於經濟需求的獎助金。 (Proof of financial needs: Applicable to need-based scholarships or assistantships.)

申請, 評審及頒獎流程：Application, Review, and Award Process:

  1. 申請截止日期：所有申請資料必須在2026年4月25日或之前提交，逾期不與受理。申請人可同時申請一或多項獎助金，但最終只能獲得一項獎勵。The deadline for application is April 25, 2026. All applications must be submitted on or before this date to be considered for awards. Applicants may apply for one or more scholarships or assistantships, but will only be rewarded one, if awarded.​

  2. 審核委員會依據各個獎學金或助學金訂定的標準進行審核。The Review Committee will process and evaluate applications based on the criteria as set forth under each scholarship or assistantship.

  3. 入圍者可能會被要求參加Zoom面試或提交錄製影片做為進一步評估的依據。Finalists may be contacted for a Zoom interview or be asked to submit a recorded video for further evaluation.

  4. 審議結果：評選委員會將審議結果交由南加州台大校友會理事會核可後，於2026年6月15日至17日通知受獎人。委員會也會在年會前通知捐款者。Final Decision: The Review Committee will submit its recommendations to the NTUAASC Board of Directors for approval and will inform the final awardees by email between Jun 15 to 17, 2026. Donors will also be informed of the recipients before the ceremony.

  5. 申請人同意不對評審小組的評審決定進行抗告。Applicants agree not to contest the Committee’s final decisions.

  6. 受獎規則：Requirements for receiving the award:

奬助金將於2026年7月11日南加州台大校友會年會晚宴上由捐贈人或其代表頒發，獲獎者或其代表必須出席年會以領取獎項。Final awards will be presented at the Annual NTUAASC Banquet, to be held on July 11, 2026, by the donors or their representatives. Recipients or their representatives must be present to receive the award.

     7. 後續報告：獲奬者在下次年會前需提供一份簡短報告，介紹其學業進展及獎學金對其影響，供校友會年刋發表 Follow-Up Report: Awardees may be required to submit a brief report before NTUAASC’s next annual banquet on their academic progress and the scholarship's impact, to be published in the NTUAASC Yearbook.

個別獎助金細節規定: Description and rules of each scholarship and assistance:

 

​​一、 Jane Chung 紀念獎學金（謝維德教授捐贈）
Jane Chung Memorial Scholarship (donated by Professor Edward Hsieh)

 

金額：$2,000 (Amount: $2,000 per person)

名額：1 名 (Number of Recipients: 1)

申請資格：​(Eligibility:)

  1. 申請人必須是在美國有通過正式評鑑的四年制學院，大學或研究所全時就讀，同時其主修為社會科學的大學部學生或研究生。 (Applicants must be a full-time student, undergraduate or graduate, majoring in Social Sciences in an accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S..)

  2. 申請人必須至少已完成一學期/學季的學業。 (Applicant must have already at least one quarter/semester of academic work at the enrolled institution.)

  3. 累積GPA 3.3 以上。 (Applicants must have 3.3 or higher cumulative GPA.)

  4. 優先考慮在主修课程上有優異成績者。 (Preference will be given to those who have outstanding record in major course work.)

例如研究論文、研究報告、個案研究、與專業相關的社區服務等。Preference will also be given to those who have demonstrable contributions or achievements in field of study, such as research paper, case study, community project, etc.)

     5. 申請人須為台灣大學校友或其後代，並居住在南加州。 (Applicants must be NTU alumni or their descendants residing in Southern California.)

二、方立人將軍奬學金（方興教授捐贈）
General Fang Li-Jen Scholarship (donated by Professor Hsing Fang)     

 

金額：$2,000 (Amount: $2,000 per person)

名額：1 名 (Number of Recipients: 1)

申請資格：(Eligibility:)

  1. 累積GPA 3.3 以上。 (Applicants must have 3.3 or higher cumulative GPA.)

  2. 依據學術表現，社區參與度，品學兼優並符合方立人將軍樂於助人理念進行評選。 (Evaluation will be based on each applicant’s academic performance, community involvement, and alignment with the philosophic values of General Fang Li-Jen.)

  3. 申請人須為台灣大學校友或其後代，並居住在南加州。 (Applicants must be NTU alumni or their descendants residing in Southern California.)

  4. 目前就讀或已被美國大學錄取的大學部學生或研究生。 (Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have been accepted to an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university in the U.S..)

​

三、傑出大專青年助學金 (何國釗博士捐贈)

Meritorious College Student Assistantship (donated by Dr. Oscar Ho)

 

金額：每名 $1,000 (Amount: $1,000 per awardee)

名額：3名 (Number of Recipients: 3)

申請資格：(Eligibility:)

  1. 申請人之父母須至少有一位具有華人血統（例如：臺灣人、中國人、海外華人或中國籍人士）。 (Applicants must have at least one parent of Chinese descent (e.g., Taiwanese, Chinese, overseas Chinese, or Chinese nationals))

  2. 申請人必須是在美國有通過正式評鑑的四年制學院、大學就讀。 (Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S..)

  3. 僅限大學部（學士班）學生申請，恕不接受任何例外。 (Only undergraduate students are eligible to apply; no exceptions will be made.)

  4. 累積GPA 3.0 以上。 (Applicants must have 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA.)

  5. 申請人須於下列一個或多個領域展現個人成就：籃球、資訊系統或社區服務。每一領域僅選出一名最終得獎者。 (Applicants must demonstrate individual achievements in one or more of the following areas: basketball, information systems, or community service. Only one final recipient will be selected for each of the three fields.)

  6. 申請人須提出相關文件以證明其經濟需求（例如：加州助學金 Cal Grant 證明、所得稅申報資料, 或其他可反映家庭財務狀況之正式文件）。留學生須提供由其所在地政府機構核發之財務證明文件。 (Applicants must demonstrate financial needs by providing appropriate documentation (e.g., Cal Grant award notice, income tax returns, or other official documents reflecting family financial status). Foreign students must submit copy of the financial documentation issued by their home-country government.)

  7. 申請人就讀之學校須位於南加州地區。 (Applicants’ attending schools must be located in Southern California.)

  8. 申請人須提交個人自傳及相關證明文件，以證明其符合上述甄選標準。 (Applicants must submit a personal biography and supporting documentation demonstrating that they meet the stated selection criteria.)

  9. 申請人須表達願意參與未來NTUAASC 之公益社區活動，以及與校友會建立並維持長期的友好聯繫。 (Applicants should demonstrate interests in participating in NTUAASC’s philanthropic community events and establish a long-term relationship with the Association.)

 

四、 游芳憫教授紀念奬助金 (游萊丹捐贈)

Professor Fang Ming Yu Memorial Scholarship (donated by Lisa Chi)

 

 宗旨:  為紀念游芳憫教授，特設立此獎助金以獎勵學貫中西，有志傳承中華文化之優秀青年學子或社會人士。

Mission:    To encourage the next generation to bridge the East and West cultures.

Purpose:    The Professor Fang Ming Yu Memorial Scholarship seeks to recognize and support young scholars and working professionals who demonstrate excellence in both Chinese and Western academic traditions. The award is dedicated to those committed to the preservation, study, and transmission of Chinese cultural heritage to future generations.

​

金額:  $2,000 (Amount: $2,000)

名額：1名 (Number of Recipients: 1)

申請資格：(Eligibility:)

  1. 基本條件：現居住於美國，年齡介於18至40歲（不限族裔）。 (Must currently reside in the United States, between 18 and 40 years of age. Open to applicants of all ethnic backgrounds.)

  2. 學術/背景要求（符合下列任一項即可）：Applicants must satisfy one of the following academic qualifications:

類別 A：以英文為主要語言（中文非第一語言），但對中文及中華文化有濃厚興趣，並有具體研究成就者。 (Language Proficiency: Applicants should be students or working professionals for whom Chinese is not their primary language (including those proficient in Chinese who use English as their main language). Candidates must demonstrate a profound interest in and significant achievements through the diligent study of Chinese language and culture.)

類別 B：對三民主義及國父孫中山先生思想有研究的人士。 (Specialized Research: Applicants must demonstrate an interest in and have conducted research regarding the Three Principles of the People and the philosophy of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.)

 

符合以上學術要求的人士請繳交一篇近作，並附曾發表過的論文或著作，必須用中文或中英雙語寫作。

Qualified candidates should submit a copy of their most recent publication and copies of their previously published papers, articles, or books. All submitted materials must be in Chinese or bilingual (Chinese and English).

五、田文華先生領導力奬學金（洛杉磯華裔企業慈善家田文華先生捐贈）
Mr. Spencer Tien Leadership Scholarship (donated by Los Angeles Area Corporate Philanthropist Mr. Spencer Tien)

 

金額：每人$2500 (Amount: $2500 per person)

名額：4 名，高中11、12年級學生。(Recipients: 4, juniors or seniors in high school)

申請關鍵條件: (Key Qualifications:)

  1. 需展現出色的領導潛力。 (Applicants must be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership potential.)

  2. 申請人須提供領導經驗證明。 (Applicants must provide evidence of leadership roles they have been involved.)

  3. 撰寫說明申請人領導經驗的文字。 (Provide a personal statement outlining their leadership experience.)

在說明中請描述你如何正面影響他人，並請包含下列幾個關鍵要素:  (In your statement, describe how you have positively impacted others, including the following key elements.)

  • 說明你為何是一位出色的領導者。(Explain why you are a great leader.)​

  • 你如何運用你的領導能力貢獻社區，並創造一個更美好的世界。(How you use your leadership skills to contribute to your community and create a better world.)

  • 你曾克服過的最大挑戰。(The biggest challenge you have ever overcome.)

  • 解釋同理心在你的領導風格中所扮演的角色。(Explain how empathy influences your leadership style.)

  • 字數以不超過300字為標準。(Total word count should not exceed 300.)

 

申請資格：(Eligibility)

  1. 申請人須為台灣移民或其後代，並居住在南加州。 (Applicants must be Taiwanese immigrants or their descendants and live in Southern California.)

  2. 目前就讀高中11年級或12年級。 (Currently enrolled in the 11th or 12th grade in a high school.)

  3. 台灣大學校友或其後代優先，但非台灣大學校友或其後代亦可申請。 (Priority will be given to the alumni of National Taiwan University or their descendants, but non-alumni of National Taiwan University or their descendants may also apply.)

  4. 最低 GPA 3.0 。 (Minimum GPA 3.0.)
